More important (at least for some):

Whisky, Beer, Wimmin, Chocolate-Bars, Wine, Hummel-Figurines, ...

Every now and then someone seems to find the Holy Grail in how to expand the business model of Invelos.
And while the idea as such may be (even though neither new, nor unique) quite good, it is, nevertheless, very unlikely that any of those projects will ever see the light of day.

You have to realize that Invelos is basically a one-man affair in terms of software development. That makes it unlikely this will happen.

I use Profiler for VHS tapes, computer/video games, plus audio story CDs and tapes.  I just integrate them into the same database.  It works fine for my needs.  A lot of the credit types are quite similar, there's a fair bit of cross-over with films and TV (especially amongst cast), and I use the custom crew fields for the others that I want to record.  It keeps me happy.    (Wish I had enough to make it worthwhile to use it for Whisky/Whiskey.)

I guess I really treat the programme as "DVD, Blu-ray, VHS Tape, Game and Audio Story etc, but not audio-only DVD or Blu-ray Profiler".  I'll admit that's not very catchy or strictly accurate either.

I'd quite like to include all my audio too, (music is my first love, way ahead of films, etc), but there's so much of it and I've never come up with a way of properly copying 12" covers either, as they're too big for a typical scanner.  One day perhaps.  I record a lot of extra film etc soundtrack information in my local database.

I use lots of tags for all sorts of things, some of which are pretty random, including if a film has a cat in it, or a chainsaw, or a spaceship, if anyone get's decapitated, plus some of the feelings I get from watching it; lots more too.    They're great, because you can make up and modify your own Rules and no one's going to tell you they're not right.

Yes, I agree to some extent, but to do it requires everything to be digitised first, which takes a lot of time if you're starting with tapes or vinyl.  (I started over ten years ago with mine and I'm currently on the letter T).  Also, I like the idea of being able to do seamless searches inside one database to find cross-overs between music used in films & TV and original albums etc.
