No, it doesn't work that way. Birth years are only allowed to distinguish between identical common names. If one them is mostly credited under a different name variant, then no birth years are necessary - instead we use the common name to distinguish one from the other.

Thanks, good to know.    Don't want to start a discussion, but what about users that don't know the common name? They've in this case not the possibility to distinguish.

Several sites don't distinguish betwenn the two Amanda Walker's, so I'm not entirely sure about it... But I have a headshot of a much younger Amanda Walker in my db (not added by me).
