Quote: I had a thought while trying to get to sleep last night...why don't you use an official release poster for the cover until you scan it? That's a good idea, except that the ones in my collection that may need scanning are seldom of that type that you can find poster images. Right now I'm missing a scan for a concert DVD, Celtic Thunder - It's Entertainment, and the turkish Rambo ripoff "Rampage" (Korkusuz). Check this site out, they're pretty good when it comes to film posters... http://www.movieposterdb.com/ |

It will look best at certain sizes (when the thumb width + left and right spacing is a multiple of 6), so play with the settings (thumbnail size and spacing) to find what looks best. I use Huge thumbnail size with Top 9, Left 16, Botom 40, Right 16, and Reflection crop 17. And a smaller version that works well with smaller thumbnails: Thumbnail size: 136x190, top 11, left 13, bottom 26, right 13, reflection crop 13. And a medium version, slightly tweaked. What can I say? I like carbon fiber! It looks good with the Obsidian theme. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |

Yeah most definitely.. it really makes DVDprofiler look fantastic.. it was great before, now its really funky looking.. i'm going to change my current skin to basically be a bookshelf.. looks amazing.. can't wait for the Iphone release if it has these kinds of backgrounds and DVD images.. looks brilliant. It would be great to have these embedded in some of the skins too, so you can get a skin with a great background. | | | Last edited: by PWolverine |

| Posted: | | | | Will thumbnail images support transparency? Not all of the images I use for my Wine Cellar are rectangular. Here's a modified version of Wood_beech that I'm using. And here it is with some of my images. |
