| | Posted: | | | | For a TV Series (or miniseries, as is the case I'm talking about), would you give a credit that reads Title Music By a Composer or Theme By credit?
Literally it's more along the lines of Composer, but thematically (no pun intended) Theme By seems more appropriate... |

It seems to me TV series mostly credit as "Music by", i.e. "Composer". So if they instead say "Title music by" that's a definite "Theme by".
Maybe because that TV series has a distinct theme but then the other music used is more random?
Also, naturally the one having written the music for the theme is also a composer, but I'd guess "Theme by" still implies that.
