On May 14h I contributed a 4k spanish release with the following note:
"Added 4K spanish release of Waterworld. All info from Invelos and cover from amazon.es"

On May 16th I contributed a bluray spanish release with the following note:
"Added spanish release of Angel. All info from Invelos and cover from amazon.es"

Both were nonexisting spanish releases. The first approved, the second declined 2 times with the following explanation:
Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were non-specific. Please specify the exact source for your changes. (e.g. "Credits from film end credit list", "Previous version UPC#1111111111")

Could someone explain me what is wrong?

Thanks!

Invelos does not have any information for you to contribute, so that may be why it was declined. Use this: "All info from the disc and/or disc credits. Cover scans and price from amazon.es"
My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it!

As far as I understand the reason given for denial, you should have added the UPC (and locality) of the profile you used to create the new profile.

It is allowed to copy existing profiles, but you should reference the copied profile in the contribution notes - usually it is a good idea to place the UPC and locality into the field for cast/crew source documentation.
Complete list of Common Names  •  A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1)

Generally, when I create a profile, I tend to submit it one of the following two ways:

"New profile created.  Cover scanned.  Release date and price from [wherever I checked it], full cast and crew from credits.  All other details from cover."

or

"New profile created.  Existing [locality] profile [EAN] used as template.  All relevant local details taken from cover.  Cover scanned."

The rules changed a little time ago to request that the contribution notes were more detailed.  Basically, the more detail you give, the more likely your contribution is likely to be accepted.

I was under the impression that lying in one's contribution notes was frowned upon.

That's not the point I was trying to make. I was under the impression that he contributed info found on the disc (since Invelos isn't a source). And he got the cover image from amazon.es. Which is also where you can get the SRP. I don't know exactly what he was contributing, so I had to guess.

Use something like this: "All info from the disc and/or disc credits. Cover scans and price from amazon.es"

Thanks to you all, I'll try as said cause it's a new contributed disc and can't reference other from Invelos.
I was puzzled cause other contributed discs were aproved with the same contribution notes and same info contributed, disc info and covers with no cast or crew.

Regards
