| Posted: | | | | Hello,
I'm not sure how to add subtitle for the deaf or hard-of-hearing (SDH). - check "French" box and that's all - check "Other" box and that's all - check "Other" box and adding something like: "Subtitles for the deaf or hard-of-hearing (SDH)" in Other Features? |

| Posted: | | | | There's currently no box to check for SDH. Use whatever language the SDH is in, and check that box. So if English SDH was a disc option, just check English. | | | My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT. FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that. Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it! |

No update for SDH planned soon, I suppose? |

An SDH subtitle in language X is just a subtitle in language X with a few more details (e.g. *explosion in the background*). | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | This is perhaps more annoying than traditional subtitling. It uses colors, and the placement of the subtitles can be anywhere on the screen.
In fact, if it’s written on the back cover, it’s okay.
Edit: I think that in France, SDH subtitling must imperatively use standard colors | | | Last edited: by aesebu |

Some SDH subtitles do that, but others (I would say: most) don't. But it doesn't matter either way: in any case, just check the language the SDH subtitles are in. |
