| Posted: | | | | I've seen a lot of instances coming through of contributions removing the HDR that was on a profile. Often the contributors claim they didn't do this, which I believe because it has happened to me as well. Does anyone know why this happen, or what can be done to prevent this? |

| Posted: | | | | I'm not sure if this is the same HDR bug, but a HDR bug has existed since this new feature was implemented. Here is the context of the support ticket I opened two years ago that has yet to be read. Quote: There's a rather strange bug which automatically contributes the HDR10 setting (even if this section is left unchecked) when submitting contribution changes with version 4.0.
To prevent this I have to modify the profile within my local 4.0 database to ensure the HDR10 check box is checked for said profile, save, and then resubmit to prevent the contribution from removing the HDR10 option in the Color section; even though this section is not selected when submitting contributions. I believe the above, is in reference to an instance where your local profile may have the HDR10 checkbox unchecked. If you submit a profile update and leave the video format section unchecked, the HDR10 option will still be updated (removed) upon contribution acceptance. I also seem to recall another bug that causes this option to change when there are two, or more, pending contributions and one gets approved with the other still pending (even though the other didn't contribute changes to the video format). I need to go back and look at my records to see what that specific instance is that triggers this behavior. |
