I'm not creating a new alternate ID, just improving upon an old one. Do I really need to give an explanation, even if it's just "see original submission" or can I ignore that bit entirely if it's already been released? |

As it's (supposedly) documented in the initial set of contribution notes, I feel that we don't have to keep documenting it in every subsequent contribution to the same profile, not even by adding "see original submission" note. I would just completely ignore this. This is needed only once, on the initial contribution, but that's all. |
