| Posted: | | | | Is there an easy way to have a disc, lets say cloudy with a chance of meatballs, which I bought the bluray, dvd combo. to show up as 2 discs, 2 separate collection items, that way I can input the location and slot which are in 2 different areas because of media type without having to actually enter the disc twice? |

That is *almost* the way my combo purchases already appear: as two discs, each with its own location info and media type. However they are usually expressed as children of a box set parent, and therefore both associated with the same collection. To get the two discs into separate collections, the box set must be split up. To do that, edit the parent, and un-assign the desired child. The child profile, and associated discs, can then be treated separately. Now, to keep both the box set view, and to also have one or more of its children in separate collections, you can clone the child profile that you want to move to another collection, either by creating an "alternate ID" using the built-in feature of DVD Profiler, or by cloning to a manual or custom profile using the plugin BulkEdit. BulkEdit will also allow you to create DISC ID profiles for all the children of a Box Set, if they don't already exist. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here.
