I recently bought the Wrong Turn collection from Walmart. Canadian version. It needs to be added to the DB, of course (I hate doing sets). Soooo, the packaging conflicts with the content. For parts 2-5, the packaging say 18A or R, but the disks clearly state right on them that they are the Unrated versions. What do I submit them as?

Box Sets rules: "If the Box Set has a rating, use it in the profile. If it does not, use NR as the rating."

So, you need to use what the Box Set packaging says. The content ratings, as far as Box Sets are concerned, are irrelevant.

OK, noted. So the contributed details are specifically of those visually on the case/cover and should not reflect that of the actual content. If them's the rulez, that's how they'll get submitted.

What about putting a line in the summary, or Other Special features field, for each movie saying that it's actually the unrated version, and that the 18A/R rating on the packaging is incorrect?

I don't see the equivalency of "Box set" and "Box set packaging".  It seems that rating the parent of a box set is rather like providing the nutritional value of the box that cereal comes in.

I'm talking about rating each of the 5 child records in the box set, not the parent. The box says either 18A or R for each movie, but the disks inside the box clearly state "Unrated" for parts 2-5. As Kathy pointed out, the rules clearly state to use the the rating on the packaging, so that's what will be used, whether I agree with it or not.

I don't think I read your question correctly.

The Parent Profile must follow the Box Set rules.

The Child Profiles do not - they follow the individual profile rules.
