Just purchased Series 6 & 7 (Blu-ray) at Best Buy for $14.99 ea.  I'm in the process of adding episode listings for Series 6 Parent & Children and episode listings for Series 7 Children, and making any other adjustments I see discrepancies with.  I noticed whoever contributed Series 6 originally, chose Clamshell as the case type.  Are you sure?  Clamshell?  I might believe Digipak...  At any rate, mine's a standard blu-ray 4-Disc keep case with slipcover.  I've no doubt it's not the original case type but I was just wondering about Clamshell.

Thanks.

Was doing a little research on this, found out what I needed to know at blu-ray.com:

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Doctor-Who-The-Complete-Sixth-Series-Blu-ray/29258/#Packaging

(tried to make a link out of that and the whole thing just disappeared)

It was a Digibook (?) with a slipcase, which is what my Series 5 & 7 are.  In DVD Profiler, would you list that as Digibook and check Slipcover?  I know Slipcover and Slipcase are 2 different things but how else would you list it?  Series 5 is listed as Digipak w/ Slipcover (I think technically it's a Digibook w/ Slipcase.....or is it?).

Clamshell it is not.

Whatever, I'll make that change next time, I'd like to get the current contributions released, don't want to hold them up by making a change now.

Indeed. It's either Digibook + Slipcover or Digipak + Slipcover. Actually, it's a "Digistack", but we don't have that option in DVD Profiler. A digibook is more like this, I've been told, so this "Digistack" you're showing might actually fall under "Digipak" here, but as always, different users may feel differently about that… Either way with the "Slipcover" checked, indeed.

And yeah, I noticed a number of pre-release profiles using "Clamshell" as case type, too - I don't understand why, as when they eventually turn up, they're never in a clamshell. It feels like someone, or a few users, select this as their "default" case type... No idea why.

Thanks for clarifying that T!M, I appreciate that.  I'll save that edit for next time...
