Why are people submitting POSTAGE STAMP-size cover images?

Contributors are replacing awesome, hi-rez images with TINY ones. Make sure and compare before accepting new images.

Those that are submitting them - STOP IT!

Cheers,

Patrick

Probably non-premium 2.x users who decided to upgrade to premium user of 3.0.

Non-premium users don't get high-res images, remember?

Will their contributions be declined by Ken and Gerri?

Should be if they've 'overwriting' existing hi res scans.

I suspect the problem here is they're new contributions that are being accepted as there's nothing else, so people need to check before overwriting their local hi res scans.

One person once voted no on my contribution, saying mine were smaller. none else voted no on the covers, or sayd anything. And from the evaluation screen it looked perfectly fine for me. Maby theres some bug, right-click the image and choose reload image, to see if thats the case?

Scans smaller than the 500 pixel wide images have always shown up smaller before.  I haven't noticed any problems with displaying scans in the new version.  Anybody have any titles to provide as examples?

The ThunderCats: S2V1 change yesterday had the same type of incredibly small-sized image posted. The rate of submission does seem to have slowed somewhat. The first few days was like 10-15 low-rez images a day.

I don't understand how these are getting past the checks...

But, I am going to do more investigating and figure out who it is (I have my suspicion at this point, but need to validate that it is ONLY this person submitting).

Crud.  Don't have either of them.  I was hoping it would one I have so I could compare.

Smaller scans are stretched in the new program.

If you still have 2.5 up, load each title into your "wish list" on both 2.5 & 3.0 so you might compare.

I duplicated the hi-res images from 2.5 & pasted them into my 3.0 (locally) so my 3.0 looks better again. I think I'm going to take the time to look at new uploaded images before accepting them...
(Which I should already be doing... oh, well.)
