Divider type for movies that are composed of many different segments?? |

| | Posted: | | | | What exactly is the correct divider type (Group or Episode) in cases where a movie is actually composed of many different segments? Two that I can think of are Movie 43 and Kentucky Fried Movie. How the rules are worded I could see arguments could be made for either. Quote:
Dividers allow the segregation of cast and crew into logical groupings. Wherever possible, these groupings should mirror the film credits.
Use Episode dividers for TV show episodes, distinct films, or other logical episodic distinction. Also use episode dividers for full cast division, such as "Japanese Voices".
Use Group dividers to designate cast grouped in the credits such as "Soldiers" or "Additional Cast". Now how I read the rules, for these types of films I think Episode dividers are to be used. But I could see how some could argue that Group is the correct type since they are just groups within a single movie. I think we need a decision to avoid ping-ponging. |

I'm undecided about the last example - voice blocks; especially, because I contributed some of them wrong in the past... Concerning the example Movie 43: This is a movie which uses embedded (interwoven) shorts to tell the story. The shorts are of no sense on their own.
