I just bought a sealed dvd from Goodwill called "The Road to War: General Patton's Desert Training Center".

On the front cover it says that the production company is Paul Kiener Productions.
On the back, it has no UPC#.
On the back, towards the bottom it has the following.
A Paul Kiener Production
in association with
The First Composite Group, Assoc.
Written by Paul W. Kiener and Richard K. Oierce
Produced by Donna L. Anderson
Filmed and Directed by Paul W. Kiener

I opened it up and the dvd is a Staples DVD+RW.

I did manage to find the site that sells it.

It sounds sketchy, but if the credits of the actual program have "Paul W. Kiener" in them then perhaps it is a valid release.

There is a video/trailer on that site for it, and it shows Paul Kiener Productions and "A Paul Kiener Film" at the start of that.

It doesn't really seem like a bootleg then, but just a cheaply manufactured DVD-R release. I would say it is a valid contribution, just list the release info in your notes.

It's the first time I ever bought a sealed dvd that turned out to be just a DVD+RW. The thing doesn't even have a label on it.

Guess it was the cheapest way to go. Like a burn on demand type of system. Instead of wasting money on pressing discs that may not sell just burn them when people order them.

Now I have to see if the Disc ID can be read.

Now I need a little help with the credits.

Most of the credits just run together and it's rather difficult to determine if some people get credited or not.

In this one, how to do the credits for the U.S. Troops.
People listed in the Military Vehicles group?

Wranglers? Credit or not?

Everything below the Wranglers is easy.

I'd credit those 2 groups (the ROTC and the High School students). I would do it like you would a band. It's been a while, but I'd put the name in one line rather than break it up into first and last names. If you could find out who was in those two groups, you could use the credited as function, but I think at this point, that would be virtually impossible.

No to wranglers. They aren't in the accepted crew list.
