The 4K series of the Mission Impossible franchise is entered as M:I-2: Mission: Impossible 2, M:I-3: Mission: Impossible 3 and so on.

Now I've tried to do the same thing for the first film in the franchise but when I contribute it the site changes the M:I: Mission: Impossible to M:i: Mission: Impossible.

Is there any possible way to get the correct title to match the front cover (and the rest in the franchise) contributed?

I mean, I could contribute it as M:i: Mission: Impossible and explain it in the notes, and leave it to people to change it locally.

If you just ignore the logo and enter it as 'Mission: Impossible', as it should be, then there's no problem. This was discussed before, for 'MIB Men in Black' and its sequels, and Ken Cole actually came into that debate and ruled that we were to use 'Men in Black' and ignore the "MIB", "MIIB" and "MIB³" logos. Since we've got that ruling, and both examples are very much alike, I would treat (and have done so) these 'Mission: Impossible' titles the same way.

In this particular case, the titles will be Men in Black, Men in Black II and Men in Black III.

Wouldn't that mean that all the Mission Impossible 4K Titles are entered wrong, because all of them except the first one is entered with the M:I-2 and so on?

Yes. If any of those are listed like that, they should be fixed.

Some of the ones I have is just MI:2 (and such) on the cover In those cases that is the title to be used. The thread Tim points to talks about when both is on the cover.... like MIB: Men in Black we would use just Men in Black.

Edit:
Correction... some of the DVDs I had was like that. Thankfully when upgrading to Blu-ray it is no longer that way for me!
