I purchased Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Blu-Ray + DVD + Digital, Collectible Packaging with 6 Interchangeable Covers) from Walmart, there is a Parent Profile in the database but no child profile for the DVD.  There is no DVD profile in the database for this movie.  I have created a DVD profile (specifically for this Star Wars edition) by using an existing blu-ray profile then editing all necessary areas including deleting the existing disc IDs, importing the disc ID of the DVD, and eliminating the existing UPC in exchange for the DVD disc ID.  I'd like to now import the resulting DVD profile, as a child, into the box set contents of the parent, but the DVD does not show up in the list of (Parent) Box Set Contents to choose from.  Is there something else I need to do?

I've had this happen many times. The way that I had to get it to be visible was to delete the child profile and redo it.

Personally, with a DVD child it maybe best to put the dvd in the computer drive and create the profile by clicking on the 'By Inserted Disc' and very likely you'll have to uncheck the 'Download Profile from Invelos' box. Then click on ok.

Once done, click on the blu-ray parent and see if the would be dvd child profile appears in the list. Then, of course, edit the dvd child as before.

I know that it's a lot of work, but you're not the only one that has come across this glitch.

Creating a new profile by DiscID and copying all data from the defunct DVD profile does not work?

I don't have a problem with creating the child profile by inserting the disc and choosing by Disc ID, then adding to the parent's Box Set Contents, but it's everything that comes after that I don't have enough time for right now, unless there's a fast easy way to copy over all the cast/crew, etc., from the parent.

I thought, you've done all that before you tried to link the child to the parent - then it should be possible to copy the complete content of the unlinkable profile to the new one - but if you tried the linking up front, then this was stupid sugestion, sorry...

Ended up deleting the DVD profile I created, re-created it from scratch. Copied cast/crew from the Parent, entered as much info as I could find on the cover (information on this particular release is darned-near impossible to find online, Walmart doesn't even list it at their website), copied covers from the Parent (currently, back is the same as front.  I left my packaging intact, just cut a hole to slide the case out, hopefully someone else can contribute proper cover scans).  Attached the finished product as Child.  Can't scan the disc ID of the Parent, I don't have a blu-ray player in my computer (no disc IDs exist as of yet for the Parent).  Contributed everything I created, hopefully it passes inspection.
