About how long does it take to upload a dvd/bluray collection of 2500 movies to have it online so friends can view your collection?  Thanx for any responses.

Depends on the speed of your internet connection.

Thank you for responding.  Yes, I know everything online depends upon the speed of your internet but I'm just looking for an average amount of time.  I have a good speed cable connection but maybe not as fast as say someone in a city who is close to the hub.  I'm in the country and 9 miles from the hub.  I download a full 1 GB movie in 4-7 minutes (depends on the host) and it takes me 10-25 minutes to upload it (again, depends on host site I'm uploading to).

It does not take very long. It does not upload data that is already in the online database. And no personal information.
I think most it is just the UPC number it sends. most of your local stuff stays local.
The first time maybe it takes a bit longer, but after that it only syncs (sends the difference).

Hope you understand. :-)

Best regards Ronnie
