I purchased The Who Tommy Live at the Royal Albert Hall on blu-ray from Amazon USA as per here

Now when I go to contribute this I get this error: "Please check that the UPC and locality are correct. These can be changed via DVD->Change UPC."

Ok, the upc doesn't look exactly right for USA 5-051300-533977 but if you look on that Amazon page link above you will see that they also have the back cover of this blu-ray and the UPC is shown on that scan. Btw, the back page also says "Made in USA" but you may not be able to see that on the Amazon image.

So what do I do? It's a USA copy with a UPC, but the contribution db won';t accept it.

I had the exact same issue. Seems it's becoming more common with concert Blu-rays?

My issue was with Madonna's Live Concert Blu-ray for her Rebel Heart Tour, see here. Seems to be the exact same issue you're having.

US profile. 13 Digits UPC code. The system doesn't allow for this with absolutely no way to bypass it.

I had to submit the profile by Disc ID. Which is ridiculous as I'm going to assume very few people will search for it by Disc ID... You'll probably have to do the same thing.

I did submit a support ticket asking for a solution to the problem TWO MONTHS ago... but we're all aware enough of how this place is run to know that won't do dick all.
The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play.

Thanks for your reply Merrik. I am of the same mind, doubt that following this up with Invelos support will do anything so I guess I'll do the same thing and just contribute it via the disc id.

Yes, this is actually a very common issue with "import" music/live Blu-rays (and DVD, CD releases) that are marketed as "domestic" releases by the label. They can also have foreign ratings on them, etc.

The label just uses the same exact product/packaging as they market and sell overseas. Sometimes they will replace the 13-digit EAN/UPC code with a "sticker" over the removable plastic wrap to hide the EAN/UPC or add a domestic UPC code.

Eagle Vision are one of the main offenders of the practice, but there are various other music labels that do it all the time as well. You really just have to resort to either adding the release by it's default "import" locality or adding such releases by Disc ID, and it's a good idea to mention the issue in the contribution notes.
