| Posted: | | | | This has been going on for awhile now, at least the last couple of versions of DVD Profiler, possibly longer. Whenever I check for profile updates or update my online database, DVD Profiler will slip into "Not Responding" mode for a few seconds, then resume updating. This usually occurs a couple of times during each updating. Any ideas what the problem might be? | | | Time is the fire in which we burn. (Soran) |

| Posted: | | | | No idea myself, but it's happened to me as well. Maybe CPU usage? |

| Posted: | | | | It seems to me almost as if it has something to do with the online server more than anything having to do with CPU usage, my computer doesn't hang like that in general. And since this has been going on for at least the last couple of versions of DVD Profiler, it seems as though it's not necessarily an application issue, although I suppose anything is possible. | | | Time is the fire in which we burn. | Posted: | | | | Certainly possible. Just today it hanged a little while downloading an update to a profile. |

| Posted: | | | | I'll have to check my CPU usage next time there's an update, I just tried but there weren't any and DVDP didn't go over 4% while checking. | | | Time is the fire in which we burn. (Soran) |

| Posted: | | | | I'd forgotten about this, just checked for updates, my CPU usage never went above 50% while checking, even during the 2 "not responding" instances, then went back down to 9-13% while it scanned my collection before announcing there were no updates. | | | Time is the fire in which we burn.
