| Posted: | | | | I've been working on the contributions for this one and what an odd set. The set was released by WellGo USA a couple weeks ago and all the disks are WellGo USA disks, with the cover of the box set printed on the disk, except for Phantasm II, which is the Scream Factory disk. Wonder why they released it like this rather than printing their own as they did with the other 4 movies. |

I believe Scream factory probably still has the license to distribute Phantasm II and are lending it out (so-to-speak) to WellGo USA to allow them to put it in their box set (they genuinely seem like a decent company run by some decent guys who just want these movies to get out there for the collectors who want them). Kind of like when Anchor Bay and Scream teamed up to release the Halloween box set a few years where Scream has the license to distribute a couple and Anchor Bay had the license to distribute the others. | | | The night is calling. | Posted: | | | | It was the exact same thing with the now OOP blu-ray set. 4 new Well-Go discs, and 2 was Scream Factory's version. |
