| Posted: | | | | About a week ago, I contributed a profile (plus front & back covershots) for a dvd that was not included in the online database. "Our Gang" 4 episodes w/UPC 779836216397. When I try to check to see if it was accepted, declined, or pendiing review, I can find nothing at all. Anyone have any thoughts on this. Thanks for your time. |

| Posted: | | | | You should be able to look under 'My profiler/Contributions' right here on the website. New additions used to be approved right away but recently there can be a delay of up to a week or so. It may be that it's just not done yet.
It should be listed under Contributions as 'Received'. If it's not there, or it's listed as 'Incomplete Submission', something probably went wrong in the contribution phase.
You may have to resubmit the information. | | | Last edited: by GreyHulk |

| Posted: | | | | Yes, that is where I have been checking (all possibilities) and nothing at all pops up. When I very first cllicked to submit it (about a week ago) it showed it had been submitted right then but not within the contribution section. I'll wait a couple more days and resubmit it. Thanx for responding. |

| Posted: | | | | Waiting is not necessary: If the contribution was successful, it appears immediatly with the status Received. | | | Complete list of Common Names • A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1) | | | Last edited: by AiAustria |

| Posted: | | | | Yes, it looks like it didn't get contributed for whatever reason.
I would contribute it again. |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks all for responding but though I have twice submitted a perfect & correct contributuion for the Our Gang dvd with 4 episodes, nothing ever came of it. After the first day, I would go back and check the contribution page and there was no info there at all about my contribution though the first day it had been. This is a brand new SEALED dvd that I personally own. If they wanted something that was perhaps on the actual dvd itself yet not on the case then I don't know what it would have been but was not going to open a sealed dvd case. I don't know how they ever got so many dvds into their database when I've always had a problem trying to contribute one. Anyhow, just wanty to extend my thanks for all responses. |

| Posted: | | | | If, immediately after contributing, your contribution doesn't show up on this page with the status "Received", something's gone wrong and you need to submit it again. Note that if it doesn't show there, or it does but it says "Incomplete Submission", then it hasn't been declined or anything like that - it just means your contribution never actually reached Invelos. | | | Last edited: by T!M |

| Posted: | | | | It's also worth noting that new additions typically get approved much faster than edits. New additions usually get added within a couple days where edits can take a week or more to get approved. This is to give people time to review the edits and vote on them |

| Posted: | | | | Yes, when I would first submit the profile, it would show up but over on the right, it would show "Incomplete Submission" though I knew it was complete but then everything would simply disappear. I've tried it twice with no joy so I guess is best to wait and see if things get all straightened out.
Thanx again for responding. |

Indeed: every "Incomplete Submission" will automatically disappear after some time. Only whose with the status "Received" have actually properly reached Invelos. Only those will remain in the queue awaiting processing, at the end of which the contribution will either be approved or declined. Note that "Incomplete" doesn't mean your contribution was incomplete in any way, it just means that the transaction, of you uploading your contribution to invelos.com, hasn't completed. |

After sending a contribution from DVD Profiler programm, you get a browser windows opened, where you have to enter contribution notes (mandatory) AND extra notes for cast and crew (mandatory if there are cast or crew involved). If the profile already existed and you try to amend it, you have to check the sections, which should be altered. Last not least you have to press submit. Only if you get the message, that the contribution was accepted: | | | Complete list of Common Names • A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1) |
