| Posted: | | | | Are New Covers accepted for Older releases (w/ same upc codes)? and if not why not add an alternate cover tab when adding artwork to collection/database in a future release |

| Posted: | | | | So you're talking about re-releases that have different artwork?
Yup, you can add that. Highlight the profile that you want to update. Click on the DVD option on the upper part of the program window. Scroll down to' Change UPC/Locality, click on that. On the right portion of the pop up window you will see a large blue arrow pointing right, click on that. On the next window, highlight Create New Alternate Version. I suggest checking the box for Retain existing entry and create a clone. If other alternate versions are already available, you would see them listed in that window.
If you need to create an alternate version, click on ok and another profile will be created. Update that with the changed artwork. |

| Posted: | | | | The same disc with the same disc ID can be included in different releases. E.g. a movie first gets released on its own and later on the same disc becomes part of a box set, with its own release date, cover art etc. Or the single movie gets a re-release with different cover art. It is quite common.
For such cases a new alternate version can be created as well. | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |
