| Posted: | | | | Hoping there's just an option somewhere that I'm not seeing Recently, had some issues when I went to open another database in my system. I got an endless amount of error messages, followed by the program crashing, followed by it not opening properly etc. etc. Had to uninstall and re-install (fixed most, but not all the problems) to get it working again. Didn't have any layouts saved, so had to remake the layout as I personally like it. Tonight while editing profiles, I noticed that birth years now aren't showing up in all windows when editing a profile. They show in the Cast Member section when editing (where you select an actor from to add it to the profile), but not in the actual profile window itself. This makes it kind of a pain in the butt to remove/add birth years after I download a profile (if they don't show in the profile window, I have to select each name to show in the Cast Members section to see if they have a birth year attached, and we all know that when a birth year is downloaded, it attaches it to all actors in the program that share that name). Wondering how to get the birth years to show back up in all windows. Here's a screenshot of the issue if anyone can help me out. Thanks!!!! | | | The night is calling. | Posted: | | | | For any that were interested, since no one unfortunately seemed to have an answer, I figured out the issue.
Tools --> Options --> Display
When checking the box for "Color code cast & crew names" it automatically removes the birth years for cast and crew from the profile window.
So guess you can have one or the other, but not both, which is kind of a shame as color coding is really helpful for realizing when an actor or crew member is incorrectly parsed in your local without having to find each cast/crew member individually in the Cast/Crew Member section and looking at how their name displays below the window.
Maybe something to update in the newer version? | | | The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play. |
