Came across a series with two crew credits I've never seen before:
Head Writer and Guest Costume Designer
There are also "normal" credits for a costume designer and a writer.
The existing profile in the online database has both roles as valid credits but I would say both should be invalid.
What's your opinion?
Think different

Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.

If head writer is the one supervising the writers of TV series, he should be valid from my point of view.

Probably both valid IMO. Sin City has Tarantino as a "Guest Director" for one scene and he is on all the profiles, why not a costumer?

Is it a costume designer that is a guest or a costume designer for a guest.

as for Tarantino's guest director credit, it is lower than a 2nd unit director.

... the fact, that someone is listed in one, many or even all profiles of title, does not say anything about the question, if this listing confirms the rules.

Indeed. Tarantino's guest director entries seem to be rooted in a feeling of "hey, I recognize that guy, so I want to track this credit", yet his contribution here *really* shouldn't qualify for an equal "Director" credit with actual directors Miller and Rodriguez. This seems to be a prime example of where the custom, local-only "Other" crew category is for - a brilliant addition which I use a lot. Since we've got that, there's really no more need to shoehorn credits in where they don't really belong.
