Poll: Collections of self-contained, feature-length movies which are part of a TV Series should be profiled: |

Collections of such movies are sometimes entered in the database following the Box Set rules (barebone parent with no disc information; Features, audio, cast and crew, etc. are in the child profiles):
- Murder, She Wrote: 4 Movie Collection (025192088155)
- Columbo: Mystery Movie Collection: 1991-1993 (025192084584.3)
- Columbo: Mystery Movie Collection 1994-2003 (025192084591)
- Agatha Christie Poirot: Definitive Collection (733961131277)
- Babylon 5: The Movie Collection (883929048014.3)
Others have been profiled like a TV Series (all data in the main profile, including disc info, cast and crew separated by episode dividers; optional disc level child profiles are sometimes attached as allowed per rules):
- Columbo: Mystery Movie Collection: 1990 (025195017145)
- Agatha Christie's Poirot: The Classic Collection 2 (054961936595)
- Worricker: The Complete Series (841887026062)
- The Complete Above Suspicion (5036193080418.4)
Obviously, it cannot be both. Is there a consensus on what it should be?

And the rules actually do address that, by stating that "Alternate versions are not used for contributing profiles for shorts." That means we can't contribute individual profiles for them. |

| | Posted: | | | | Most of these examples aren't exactly part of a TV series. They weren't TV shows with two hour episodes or multi-part movies episodes stitched together. They are TV movies that are related to a TV show, but weren't regular episodes. If you want a harder case, try Mystery Science Theater 3000 or the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes show. |
