| Posted: | | | | My pc which had DVD Profiler installed crashed. I reinstalled it on my new pc and restored my backup, so far so good. But it seems the backup does not contain the settings fro the Options dialog. As i installed and configured DVD Profiler years ago, i can't remember all settings i changed, but i know it took me some time to configure as i liked it best. I have the disk from my old pc, and i want to copy the settings file from that disk to replace the current one. Does anyone know the location of that file, I can't seem to find it. I already copied Layout.dpl from the "{UserProfile}\AppData\Local\DVD Profiler" folder which contained my layout (also not stored in the backup), but that file does not contain the settings.
Thanks |

| Posted: | | | | Hello,
I think most of the settings of the application are stored in the Registry of the computer. So you have to use regedit to do an export of the hive related to DVD Profiler. The path is depending on the version of Windows. For example I'm on Win10 and this is the path HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Invelos Software. After that you copy the export file on your new PC and you import it. | | | Regards Cyrille |
