This may be fixed in the pending version, but right now, title dividers work differently for cast and crew. I've been working on breaking up cast and crew lists where we have multiple movies on a single profile now that the program handles it properly.

For crew, if you delete a divider, it deletes all the crew under it. To pare a profile down to one title, you have to delete the ones you don't want, then manually move all the credits from the movie you do want to the top level and out of the divider, then delete that divider.

For cast, deleting the divider just deletes the divider, so you have to copy everything into a text editor, delete the sections and dividers you don't want and paste it back.

Neither of these is ideal behavior. Ideally, it should give the option of removing everyone under the divider or just removing the divider. Being able to just move a divider and everyone under it together in the program itself would be great, too.

I have also been working on separating multiple movies on a disk into one movie per profile.

For crew, I tinker with the underlying xml code. I copy All Crew, then paste into a simple text editor. I delete the unneeded crew divisions, then I delete the first line under <Credits>; this is the divider code. Pasting the remaining code with paste All Crew in the variant profile will generate the simple crew list without divider.

For cast, I find it easy enough to remove all uncessary cast in DVD Profiler line by line using Alt-R.

A feature which would make the whole process easy would be to add the option "Keep only the data from this divider" when you right click on it.
