| Posted: | | | | I'm trying to submit a title change to Marvel's The Avengers, which is now "Marvel's the Avengers". But a change isn't recognized when I submit.
I'm suspecting the new system automatically detects that "the" isn't supposed to be capitalized, so therefor it skips it?
I'm thinking submitting an erroneous title and ask people to still vote yes could be a solution, until fixed. And right after the contribution is approved, of course, make another contribution with the correct title. |

| Posted: | | | | That wouldn't work, as the capitalization would have "corrected" the title again. I've added logic for this kind of possessives, so you can now resubmit as "Marvel's The Avengers" and it should be left alone. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

When I enter "Marvel's The Avengers" into Capitalization tool (located in the rules), the tool corrects the data to "Marvel's the Avengers". It is my understanding that we are not allowed to change that corrected data. Ken, are you saying that this is an exception? Here is one thread in which I questioned the tools use: http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=846724&messageID=2675419#M2675419 |
