| Posted: | | | | This isn't in reference to the front cover but instead the movie itself. While the title is "Ghostbusters" when the movie opens, for the credits (which run after the movie), it's called Ghostbusters (and below it) Answer the Call (just like it's printed on the front cover). So which is it?
BTW, when I talk about the credits, this is where just the cast and crew names are listed one by one in addition to the scroll ones which run after it. |

| Posted: | | | | Ghostbusters | | | My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT. FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that. Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it! |

| Posted: | | | | I just bought this... and even on the cover it looks to me as more of a tagline then part of the title. Shouldn't the title for the release just be Ghostbusters!?! | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I would have to see the press release... The past contribution notes says that too... but no link to them. And when I tried to google it and look for myself I found no actual press release just sites saying stuff like "the studio apparently changed the title for home release" and stuff like that.
I am still searching... but if you know where the press release is... I would be grateful for a link. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I finally found a copy of it on the Hometheaterforum website. CLICK HERESeems odd that it was so hard to find... couldn't even get it on Sony's own website. All over Sony's website it just says "Ghostbusters." But either way... I found a copy of it now. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | FWIW, the name at the US Copyright Office is GHOSTBUSTERS, with GHOSTBUSTERS: ANSWER THE CALL listed as an alternative title as well as GHOSTBUSTERS (2016). Interesting. So it seems it was considered the title at least for some purposes.
What does the credit block on the back cover say (I ordered from the UK so I could get the 3D version--stupid American studios--so I don't have it yet)? That should probably decide the issue per the rules where the front cover is ambiguous, no? | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |
