| Posted: | | | | I just picked up Transformers: The Movie(826663-169843), and in reviewing the profile, I noticed a couple of invalid song credits that are not original tracks written for the movie. The obvious ones are Weird Al's Dare to be Stupid, which was released on the same-titled album a year earlier, and Nothin's Gonna Stand in Our Way, which was originally written for the movie Savage Streets. However, in researching some of the other tracks, it would seem that the most iconic song used in the film, The Touch, was originally written for the Sly Stallone film Cobra. So, given that The Touch was NOT written for The Transformers, I propose its credit is ALSO invalid. Thoughts? |

| Posted: | | | | You are correct on all 3 counts. | | | My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT. FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that. Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it! |
