| Posted: | | | | Have been trying to fix this addition to my collection for a few days now with no luck. Title of collection: Miramax House Party Collection -- UPC 096009865092 1st DVD has just 1 movie "Don't Be A Menace to South Central while drinking your Juice in the Hood" UPC -- 096009762094 2nd dvd has 3 movies "Senseless" / "Underclassman" / "Ride" UPC -- 096009719494 --------------------------------------- This set was not in the main database so I added it manually by using the main case UPC and scanned in front and back covers. I edit my entry - click on Box Set Contents but can't do anything that way. As soon as I type in the box title or any of the 4 movie titles, the assign button gets grayed out. Adding a disc just does main feature and bonus dvd.
I want this Miramax set to be added the same way my box set for "Fantasy-Adventure Collector's Set" UPC 096009616090 (2 discs/4 movies) where it shows the child profiles for each movie, was added all correctly because its UPC was listed in the main online database.
Also, I find no ALTERNATE VERSIONS FEATURE tab within my program as someone mentioned in another post and this UPC is NOT a duplicate.
The only way I can think to do this is add a different Miramax 2 disc/4 movie set and simply change all the images and info but then I doubt I could change the wrong UPC it would show in General to the right one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

| Posted: | | | | I've done this for many such box sets over the last couple months, some with as many as 5 movies per disk. Moves along pretty quick once you get used to it. Use the Miramax House Party Collection UPC 096009865092 as you have done. You do not use UPCs for the child contents, you use the disk IDs and alternate versions. You need to put the disk in the machine for this. The Change UPC/Locality is located ONLY in the main DVD menu at the top of the screen, it is not located in the right-click context menu. Check out these three threads, they'll give you a bit more information on how to do it and what you can/cannot or are not allowed to do.
