| Posted: | | | | Are you asking if you can add a bar code scanner so that you can scan the upcs while adding your DVDs/BRs? If so, yes you can. I use a very basic CueCat one, I believe they are called. I can't remember the steps to add it, but I do remember that it was pretty easy. I know people have used some fancy ones in the past as well. | | | Lori |

| Posted: | | | | I'm assuming you're referring to DVD Profiler for PC. If so, after clicking on the "Add DVDs to Collection" icon click on the "Add Multiple..." button to the left of the UPC field. From here, you can use a scanner to scan a list of UPCs or to paste in an existing list of UPCs. |

Years ago I used barcode2fileand e.g. "barcode inventory" brings a lot more apps, maybe one of them is even more comfortable? | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

| Posted: | | | | on an iphone you can load the dvdprofiler app. This allows you to scan barcodes via the iphone camera directly in to the app. No 3rd party barcode reader needed.
In the past I have use on my iphone bar-code, barcode and pic2shop. All 3 allow you to email the numbers to an email address where you can then copy and paste them in to dvdprofiler or make a text file and import the text file in to dvdprofiler. | | | Last edited: by slaizer2000 |
