| Posted: | | | | The question is how should a box set be split up? By disk or by title? This one, for instance, The Midnight Horror Collection: Charles Band Presents has these two child records, added by disk ID, Puppet Master 4 and Puppet Master 5 / Curse of the Puppet Master. Would it be better to have it like this as two entries for the two disks or split in to 3 entries reflecting the 3 titles is the set? Personally, I would rather have 3 titles as it makes sorting more meaningful and finding "Curse of the Puppet Master" easier using the web form, rather than having to do a full substring search on the entire list just to see if it's in some set. If I were to go and modify this and split it by title rather than disk ID, would that violate any contribution rules? |

| Posted: | | | | Found my answer,
"Discs with more than one movie on a single side should be entered as one profile per movie. Use a disc ID profile, and as many disc ID alternate profiles as required."
I'll edit such cases as I find time and come across them. |

| Posted: | | | | OK, I don't understand what is meant by "disk ID alternate profile" I found an already entered disk ID for one of the disks I was going to start with Puppet Master 1 Thur 5It says that each movie should be entered as a separate profile using disk ID alternate profiles, but how do I do that? So, I create new profiles for each movie and assign the same disk ID to all 5? Would that be correct? |

Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. | Posted: | | | | It's a little flaky and doesn't necessarily always assign a valid alternate, but I THINK I managed to get it. Thanks. |
