| Posted: | | | | Why do they decline discs being added by disc id with the comment: 'The UPC/EAN of the contributed cover scan does not match the profile's UPC/EAN.'
The UPC/EAN will never match the profiles UPC/EAN because it has no UPC/EAN. Or Am I seeing this wrong?

| Posted: | | | | If you could provide a little bit more information, we could imagine, what the problem is.
... but: the correct reaction to a invalid No-Vote is to amend the contribution notes and explain the facts to the screeners.
If you changed the cover scans, then they should have the same UPC/EAN than the old ones...
Why don't you contribute by UPC/EAN? - Which versions of the DVD/BD exist, with which UPC/EANs? ... | | | Complete list of Common Names • A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1) |

| Posted: | | | | I'm trying to add the DVD in The Zero Boys Arrow video edition.
Arrow always release Blu-ray/DVD sets. The blu-ray is added with the UPC. The DVD is added with disc ID so there is no seperate cover. Up until now this has always worked (see 5027035013763, 5027035013527, 5027035013787 for other examples).

| Posted: | | | | I don't fully understand the issue; if you submit new profiles, there should be no possibilities to vote the contribution and leave remarks, or?
Is the DVD profile already in the data base? | | | Complete list of Common Names • A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1) |

Is the DVD profile already in the data base? I believe by votes/remarks/comments he means whoever the screener was who declined their initial contribution. I don't really understand what the problem could be with the rest either though... unless it's being entered with the wrong locality or something. A Disc ID entry would of course not match any UPC/EAN on a cover scan. likwit, can you perhaps copy and paste your own contribution notes from one of these declined entries? | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | Ah, yes of course. My mistake. Perhaps if you wait until the BD profile has been released? And make sure you specify in the notes that you are adding the DVD to a combo profile. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | so, the solution to adding a DVD which is part of a Blu-ray/DVD set is by adding the DVD without cover and then let the voters accept the cover. | | | |

| Posted: | | | | I really don't understand, what you are trying to achieve.
If you contribute new profiles, there are is no possibility for voters to comment that. Only the screeners accept (or in very rare cases decline) the contribution.
Can you please explain in detail, what you are doing? | | | Complete list of Common Names • A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1) |
