| Posted: | | | | Has the invelos.com site been slow for the past few weeks for anyone else? I'm seeing lots of connection timeouts when uploading or downloading my collection; this hasn't previously been an issue for me.
Sometimes the upload/download succeeds after taking a much longer time than usual; sometimes it fails outright after fifteen or more minutes and I have to start again.
I don't think anything has changed in my connection or firewall settings (Windows 7 64-bit); I see the same behavior on my work laptop and my home PC and on Android, so I don't think it's specific to any one device or instance of DVD Profiler. | | | "...self-discipline isn't everything. | Posted: | | | | I haven't had any timeouts but I have noticed when uploading my collection it does take a bit longer, but I just figured because I had a larger collection. |

| Posted: | | | | @trystero: I had the same timeouts as you. For the last two months, it takes longer to upload sometimes, but not in the last week. But I thought that would be a problem with my collection, as I have other problems... | | | Last edited: by raimar |

| Posted: | | | | I wouldn't rule out cyber attack issues. Most US hosting sites are under intense attack daily. If they are not successfully hacked, they are probably at least slowed down somewhat. Of course, this is pure speculation on my part. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |

| Posted: | | | | I tried going to Profiler > Tools > Online and ticking the "Alternative Internet Connection" checkbox, as suggested by Kathy in this post, and it's made an enormous difference to my upload and download times. Worth trying if you're also seeing a significant slowdown. | | | "...self-discipline isn't everything. Look at Pol Pot." —Helen Fielding, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason |

It seems that certain "custom" details are not showing up in the online collection now for some reason. I've noticed this occurring for the past week... is this just part of the process? For instance I just entered some new titles not yet in the database, uploaded my collection and those basically just show as completely "blank" in my online collection now. The only thing that shows up as visible were "Genres" for whatever reason. I tried a full database repair and re-uploaded, but the same thing happens. This is what I mean: I have everything entered in the profile, yet it still shows up as blank online...except for the "Genres". | | | Corey |
