| Posted: | | | | Can't see anything wrong with it. What is Laff1 talking about? Spectre? | | | My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT. FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that. Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it! |

| Posted: | | | | Just by looking at it, the back covers are not the same. There is additional text under the box in the new scan that is not there in the existing scan. I'm not sure if that is why it was declined, but that is the only thing I can think of. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Not sure about these (and on the back, i wonder if the original contributor cut it off because that one has no copyright), but in the past month I've had three images declined (and in each instance, no no votes, in fact multiple yeses). On the one (as the two were just declined), I just resubmit with reasoning why they were an improvement. |

The original images were copied from the Contribution screen, and I gather they are just temp local files and those links happened to match up with files on his PC. | | | HDTV: 52" Toshiba Regza 52XV545U AVR: Onkyo TR-707 Speakers: Paradigm Monitor 7 v6, CC-190 & Atom Monitors Subwoofer: Definitive Technology ProSub 800 BD/DVD: Oppo BDP-93 (Region Free) HD PVR: Motorola DXC3400 500GB w/ 1TB Expander BD/DVD/Game: 250GB PS3 Slim DVD/Game: 250GB XBox 360 Elite Special Edition (Black) Game: Wii Remote: Logitech Harmony One w/ PS3 Adapter WHS: Acer H341 Windows Home Server |

| Posted: | | | | From my point of view, the new scans are overcontrasted - ie. on the second photo on the back cover, the mic nearly disapears and the texture around Travolta and his suit is lost completely. - I would have voted no on theese scans...
Remark: in the good old analog times there was a really good rule to limit contrasts between the RGB values 16 and 240 to avoid problems with non calibrated displays. Today this should be a rule of the thumb to keep images natural...
... and for the text on the bottom of the back cover: This seems to be cropped from the original scans - for what reason ever. The aspect ratio of the back cover shows too little height. Maybe it was scanned from a snapper... | | | Complete list of Common Names • A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1) |

| Posted: | | | | Did you explain the changes in the contribution notes? If you didn't (specific enough) that could be a reason for the screeners to decline the contribution. |

| Posted: | | | | When I opened this page yesterday i saw a bad cropped picture of the BD edition of Spectre 007, so I have no idea what happened because today it is a whole new picture Laff1 Quoting huskersports: Quote: Can't see anything wrong with it. What is Laff1 talking about? Spectre? |

Maybe it was scanned from a snapper... Wow, did you just purchase this in the past day? I find it curious on how you didn't vote on this initial contribution the first time around but this time you did. What a coincidence!!! I also agree on some of your points. I only submit covers that I think more accurately resemble the actual cover. Sometimes my scans are over saturated, and while I may prefer them I keep them in my local. Do you actually have this DVD to compare it to the current and newly contributed scan? If not then you should not be voting on something you don't own. From your 'no' vote :"Sharper and better colouring but overcontrasted: dark areas loose texture, Microphone on the back disappeared..." Is there some lose of detail on 'some' aspects of the scan? Perhaps. but the color and contrast are much more accurate than the current cover. How do I know? I'm looking at it the actual cover right now. But what does that matter? | | | HDTV: 52" Toshiba Regza 52XV545U AVR: Onkyo TR-707 Speakers: Paradigm Monitor 7 v6, CC-190 & Atom Monitors Subwoofer: Definitive Technology ProSub 800 BD/DVD: Oppo BDP-93 (Region Free) HD PVR: Motorola DXC3400 500GB w/ 1TB Expander BD/DVD/Game: 250GB PS3 Slim DVD/Game: 250GB XBox 360 Elite Special Edition (Black) Game: Wii Remote: Logitech Harmony One w/ PS3 Adapter WHS: Acer H341 Windows Home Server | | | Last edited: by DoubleDownAgain |

| Posted: | | | | Quoting AiAustria: Quote: Maybe it was scanned from a snapper... No, it was originally a keep case, and has always been a keepcase. But you should know that as you own it. LMAO Another example why I should just pack it in with all the other and join all the other that decided to stop contributing. Really...
