| Posted: | | | | SOLVED: I realized after I posted that instead of starting with "English" I needed to select "Audio Descriptive" in the "Content Box" instead of English. This fixes my problem but this may not be the best approach for DVDProfiler, since this approach will not work once more Descriptive Video tracks are added in languages other than English.
Original Post: ---------------------- I'm trying to create a new entry for Canadian UPC 024543-954538 (Gone Girl) based upon the existing U.S. database entry UPC 024543-954521. The disc for the new Canadian UPC contains an English audio track for Descriptive Audio 5.1. Unfortunately, the DVD Profiler drop-down list of choices does not allow me to enter a Descriptive Audio track for the new UPC. What can I do to get this track properly entered before I submit the profile?
This is an important issue because my nephew is blind and I like to search for DVDs with Descriptive Audio so that he can listen to them. Any idea how I can enter this audio track info? | | | Last edited: by Mardon |

Quite right. The same goes for Commentary tracks - there we can't enter the language they're in either. There is also a type of audio track called "Special Effects". No idea what that might be. And there are similar problems in the Subtitles section (commentary, trivia, SDH). |
