| Posted: | | | | Trying to make a contribution and on the contribution page all I see my changes and the Cancel button. The Submit button is absent. Also the Locks icon is all green.
I assume that the profile is locked, how do I unlock the profile? |

| Posted: | | | | Okay, but the section I wanted to edit on the profile is completely locked. The only option is to vote Lock.
Under the All Locks column the Lock icon is all green for that section.
This is the first time that I can recall that this has happened. |

This is the first time that I can recall that this has happened. It doesn't show an "Unlock" option? I don't know then. Maybe when everything is all green and fully locked, it can't be unlocked without opening a support ticket. Edit: I think what I posted previously, you already knew how to do then. Oops! I'll just leave it though, if somebody wants those instructions. | | | Corey | | | Last edited: by Katatonia |

| Posted: | | | | Post the title/upc number so the people who have "voted" to lock it can unlock. IIRC, it takes 6 people to lock a title so sometimes only 1 person needs to unlock it to free it up.
The lock system was put in place years ago, and I don't think many titles are locked, but the theory was once the profile was "perfect" it could be locked to prevent unwanted changes to the online. The reality is that due to program changes and constantly changing common names and birth year additions, the locking function is a PITA and should be removed.
Hope that helps. | | | Kevin |

This, exactly. Certainly the cast and crew sections (of *any* profile) should NEVER EVER be able to get locked - no exceptions. | | | Last edited: by T!M |

| Posted: | | | | First Thanks Ken! I have hated this locking profiles since day one! I knew it would be nothing but a PITA! Quoting T!M: Quote: Quoting antolod:
