| Posted: | | | | Just wondering if Disney's Fast Play is considered a Special Feature or would it be considered a gimmick? |

| Posted: | | | | It is an option menu item that is available to skip thru the 12+ 'coming soon' trailers .. I would love to know if this is available on any Disney disc.. and if it is I would use it . .
I would find and use it if it was mentioned in the DVD menu guide of DVD profiler .. just as games or music videos etc are ..
of course it should be listed . | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

| Posted: | | | | FastPlay just means you don't need to click any buttons in order for the movie to start after you sit through all of the up front trailers and/or commercials. Here is what Disney says about FastPlay: Quote: What benefit will I receive from viewing a Disney DVD with Disney's FastPlay? - Disney's FastPlay takes away the extra steps that most DVDs require in order to watch the movie or Bonus Features. - If you don't want to navigate to start the movie, Disney's FastPlay navigates for you. - Disney's FastPlay also gives you a look into the great Bonus Features that Disney DVDs offer.
Why is Disney's FastPlay not available on all Disney Titles? - Disney's FastPlay technology was designed with families in mind. Many children under 8 years old aren't able to easily navigate a DVD. It also gives parents the option to put a DVD on for their child/children without having to wait and navigate through the Menu. EDIT: Here's a funny article on Disney's FastPlay or as they call it SlowPlay. http://www.ew.com/article/2007/10/04/disneys-fastpla | | | Last edited: by rdodolak |

| Posted: | | | | 7 Minutes of advertisement (including trailers), that's not very fast... How is it different from any other DVD with forced trailers? | | | Deutsches DVD Profiler Forum: www.dvdprofiler-forum.de |

| Posted: | | | | Most discs take you to the menu after the forced trailers. The FastPlay takes you straight to the movie. Not a big deal to me but I can see where parents would like to know which ones will do this so they don't have to come back 5 minutes later and start the movie after the damned unskippable trailers finish playing. | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |
