| Posted: | | | | I was low on space for an upgrade and noticed DVD Profiler was using 3Gb on the iPhone so I created an empty DB and made that default and deleted my main one. I waited a while for the free space to show up (Appeared to be deleting data slowly in background and once the space was free I upgraded.
After the upgrade was complete I re-synced by iPhone DB with the PC DVD Profile DB and found after the resync the sized used was actually 300MB smaller (2.7Gb). So somehow just deleting the DB and recreating it recovered about 300Mb for some reason.
I looked and did not see anything in the App like the clean images dir or repair options like there is on PC version or did I miss them?
Has anyone else seen this with large collections where the space in use is lowered by deleting and the recreating the DB?
Thanks, Tom |
