| Posted: | | | | Hi, I hope someone can help me. I have an iPhone 4S (64gb model, running iOS 7.1.2) and after updating DVD Profiler for iOS to the latest version 2.1.6, it will no longer sync with my DVD Profiler programme on my Windows Vista laptop. The only change I've made, was updating the DVD Profiler for iOS programme. Nothing else! When I connect my iPhone, and try to "Update Collection" on the DVD Profiler for iOS app, it says: "Error sending changes. Continue?" and then gives me three choices: - Retry - Skip - Cancel If I choose, retry, it keeps repeating the same errror message: "Error sending change..." etc, etc"! If I choose "Skip", it does seem to sync, but I'm sure it's not syncing correctly. I've tried numerous things, like removing then reinstalling both the DVD Profiler programme on my laptop, and my iPhone; checking my wi-fi connection; making sure that no anti-virus or firewall software are blocking things, and doing a complete Repair on my Database (roughly 320mb in size), but all to no avail. I do NOT want to update my iPhone software to iOS 8, as I've been told (and seen examples) of major problems running iOS 8 on an iPhone 4S. So can anyone help me out, please? Why am I suddenly getting problems?! This is extremely frustrating. Pooch | | | Last edited: by PoochJD |

| Posted: | | | | Hi, Thanks for the help. I tried it with the "Send Changes" switch off, but that didn't do anything. So, I then tried once more, but once I get the error message "Error sending changes. Continue?" I chose to "Skip" it. It seemed to update things on my DVD Profiler for iOS database. I then made changes to the database, on my PC, saved the database, then resynced it, and now it all seems to be working again. I'm completely confused as to why it kept saying "Error sending changes." Maybe I had a dodgy file or something?! Oh well. It seems fixed now, so Pooch |
