After loading the new version, I get the message -
DBISAM Engine Error #  11013 Acces to denied to table
"C:\User\User\Documents\DVD
Profiler|Databases\Default\ACTORASSGN.IDX"

I then run the database repair  tool.. I have tried Basic and Full...

After this I get a new window opening with the messge ' Updating database', whatever it does at this point it doesn't.  Looking at the program in task manger it is stuck at 0% and states it is waiting for a user input.  I have left it several hours with no joy.

Any help is gratefully excepted,

cheers,

Ken

Try cycling through your open tabs (Alt+Tab) until you come back to the DVD Profiler window.  Then try pressing the Enter key.

I've noticed sometimes a pop up window in the program will become hidden (stuck) behind the main window and it will sit there until the error message is acknowledged.  Sometimes this happens when another application has the main focus or if the monitor goes to sleep when this popup window/message is displayed.

If the problem doesn't go away after rebooting, then the most likely cause is that another program is blocking the access.  This is most commonly a virus scanner. Configure it to ignore the database directory.
