I've gone to add a release of Ghost Stories for Christmas (5-035673-009659 - UK box set from BFI). I wasn't really expecting it to be in the database, but when I entered the EAN I got a completely different profile. I thought that I'd double check it and found that, whilst the title is completely different, the overviews for each disc were almost word-for-word.

It would appear that the existing release is under a different title and contains fewer discs, but is predominately the same release.

What are the suggestions for doing the profile?

I have seen this happen before... it is a re-release update with more discs. Needs to be left as is for the online. But only until the new version 3.9 comes out of beta... then we will be able to have variants and both the original release and re-release will be able to be in the online database.

I have this very same release. I had no intended to do anything about it for now. More like I was hopping for the best .

So if 3.9 can fix it great.

I suppose that my purchase was reasonable well timed then. I'll hold fire on a submission and see if release 3.9 comes to my rescue.
