| Posted: | | | | Does anyone else have the issue where release dates are always displayed in U.S. format, regardless of the language setting? Is there another setting somewhere??? |

| Posted: | | | | This is a known problem of Win7 OEM versions
To solve this open the Windows Control Panel -> Language and Region Settings
Set USA as language and region Restart Set back language and region to Australia Restart
Problem should be solved now. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Problem should be solved now. Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it, but it made no difference. Date format is still mm/dd/year. Any other suggestions? |

| Posted: | | | | Try the alternative method
Windows Control Panel -> Language and Region -> Tab "Administration" (or equivalent) -> Button "Change Region Scheme" (or equivalent) for Non-Unicode programs.
Procedure is the same as above (Change to USA - Restart -> Change to Australia -> Restart)
Sorry if the names of buttons and tabs don't match the actual names, I'm using a localised German version. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I followed your instructions but it made no difference. All dates within the program are still in U.S. format. ??? |

| Posted: | | | | Strange,
DVDProfiler uses the date-format as specified by Windows.
Does the account you are working with have administratorial rights? If not, please temporarily change the account to an Administrator-account and try again with the solution I suggested first. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! Yes, I have an admin account. I tried your process again but to no avail. In the end I changed the date format to match what Profiler was currently displaying. Opened/Closed Profiler. Changed the date format back to dd/mm/yy and opened Profiler again. Now it's displaying dd/mm/yyyy. So an extra 2 digits in the year format for some reason, but at least now the day and month are displayed correctly. I opened the Beta version of Profiler and it's also now displaying dd/mm/yyyy. So a 99% success. I can live with that. Thanks for tying to help. It's appreciated. |
