| Posted: | | | | I have a set of 4 Bogart and Bacall movies, entitled Bogie and Bacall - The Signature Collection. It contains 2 double-dvd cases. All 4 films have disk-level entries already in the database from other collections, complete with (for my use) inappropriate cover art.
I can create a box set entry for the collection using these ids, but it will be wrong. Is it possible to have multiple titles using the same disk id but with different overviews and cover art, or should I give up attempting to submit this and just keep a local (locked) set of profiles? |

DVDProfiler (currently) doesn't support multiple variants of one identifier (Disc-ID, UPC/EAN). So those that purchase a later release have to enter the differing data (Release Date, Overview, Cover-Art, etc) on a strictly local basis themselves. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
