| Posted: | | | | due to lack of space on my c partition on pc i had to remove dvdprofiler. since my collection is rather big the database takes up too much place. i re-installed dvdprofiler and choose for another location on my harddisk for dvdprofiler to be installed. sadly the program still automatically instals itself in the c:\users\myname\documents\DVD Profiler\databases\default\ folder. I managed to create another database called profiler shiitake mushroom (losing patience) on G:\DVD Profiler\profiler shiitake mushroom\ but when i started downloading my collection the initial database became bigger and bigger and i can't delete the content / copy it to the self created profiler shiitake mushroom database. what am i doing wrong? i started to download my download collection (almost 8000) but had to cancell since i was going to lose all my harddisk space on c partition once again. |

| Posted: | | | | You should be able to create a new database on any drive on your system, and delete the old one on C:\ to free the space there.
In the program at the top, open File and then Open Database. Then just click on "New Database..."
You can also copy the old database to the new database location.
After you've created the new database on your G:\ drive and it loads okay in the program, just delete the old one on C:\ by the same "File/Open Database" method.
The program should recognize the new database on your G:\ drive as your new "default" database then. | | | Corey |
