| Posted: | | | | Such as The Amazing Spider-Man Blu-ray combo pack came with an exclusive bonus disc.
Do we add that disc as box set contents to the blu-ray parent profile in addition to the dvd copy of the film on dvd? Or just the dvd copy of the film is allowed? |

| Posted: | | | | If I understand you correctly and you mean a bonus disc that you have to go to a specific store (Exclusively at Walmart) I would say only if the exclusive release has it's own UPC. If the bonus disc is exclusive to just the one store... then it wouldn't be there for most of the user base. So if at all it should be noted locally for those that went to that store. | | | Pete |

The Amazing Spider-man blu-ray available exclusively at Target came with the exclusive dvd called "The Amazing Spider-Man: A Hero Will Rise".
So the Target exclusive blu-ray would have two children profiles: the dvd copy of the film and the exclusive disc "The Amazing Spider-Man: A Hero Will Rise". |

If we don't create profiles, then they can't be added as box set contents. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | I do know that some box sets do have bonus discs profiled. Whether right or wrong they have been allowed before.
Personally I don't have any skin in this game. I don't create them. In fact if I download a box set that has a bonus disc (that is not a bonus film) I remove it from my local. | | | Last edited: by Scooter1836 |

| Posted: | | | | For box sets the rules state: "If a Box Set contains discs of Bonus Material for individual films, do not create separate profiles for these discs. Add the information to the individual film’s profile as normal for a single film 2-Disc set. If there is a disc of Bonus Material for all films included in the Box-set, create a separate profile for this disc." |

As Mako points out, they are allowed if they cover all films in a set. Bonus discs for single film releases are not supposed to get their own profiles. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Correct. They only get their own profile if they cover multiple films in a single box set. |

| Posted: | | | | I see I misread this first thing this morning. I thought he meant in the disc id field. No a bonus disc does not get it's own profile unless it covers more then 1 film in a box set. | | | Pete |
