I've just tried to submit four new contributions of films that there aren't in the database and in every one of them I've been answered with this message "An invalid source, such as a third party database, was listed in the contribution notes. Use of a third party database is not allowed per the contribution rules." It may be because english is not my first language, but I don't really undersant where the problem is, I just want to help improve the database. I took most of  the information from the original BluRay I own.

Thanks

You say you took "most" of the information from the blu-ray, where did you get the rest?
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Could you provide the text of one of your contribution notes?
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

That's the problem.
You may not take this information from IMDB.
You have to take it from the filmcredits or copy them from another already approved profile.

Make sure you check the credits for the common names with CLT (and forum).

First of all, read carefully the rules:
http://www.invelos.com/dvdpro/contributions/Rules.aspx

IMDB is a third party database, you have to take cast and crew directly from film credits.

The background of this is that Invelos would have to pay a (high) license fee to IMDb in order to be able to legally use their data. Moreover, IMDb cast and crew data contain many differences versus the actual film credits.
