| Posted: | | | | Recently I tried to contribute another version of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Which is a Walmart exclusive. When I contribute it it looks like it is working and then loads the webpage and there is nothing in the submission except the UPC. I clicked on include cover scans and I have all the other content in the submission but the submission online only shows the UPC. Is there something I can do to make it work? This issue has only started occurring recently. Any help is well appreciated. Thank You |

| Posted: | | | | Sounds like this was a completely new UPC number to the database? When you submit a completely new submission you do not get all the check boxes like you do with updates. This is normal... though I wish you did... as there is times that some of the stuff I have in a profile is not per rules... and new submissions are all or nothing... so I need to remember to upload before adding the info that is not per rules.
You get the box to write your contribution notes in right? Just and your notes and submit. It will submit everything for you automatically. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I checked your collection and copied the UPC. When I tried to add it to my database, that profile is not available.
So, it might be that it hasn't been approved and released yet.
How are you checking to see your contribution?
You should check it here on the invelos' website: Top of the page > my profiler > Contributions.
This will list any contributions you've made in the last 30 days. If you look to the right of each title, you will see the status of that contribution: Profile Status and/or Image Status.
If you look there you will see if the film is: Received, Approved, Released or Declined.
The time it takes to get a contribution evaluated varies. It can be anywhere from almost automatically to several days.
Sometimes, if you are entering a new birth year for example, the profile will go through an additional evaluation process and that takes even more time.
On the other hand, if you are checking your contribution by re-contributing it, you have started the process all over again. You should only do this if you change or add data and want to contribute that. |

| Posted: | | | | Completely normal behaviour for a profile that isn't in the database yet.
A new profile contribution simply uploads all the data you entered and since there is no previous version that you will change you don't see the changes overview of the "normal" contribution. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | OK it sounds like it is normal. I withdrew my submission thinking it was not working. I was confused because you can view click on My contribution and view the comments then click on evaluate this contribution and it will display all that was submitted. But that has been when I have updated a profile, which others stated that this is not the case in a new submission.
Thanks for the help I will resubmit it tonight when I get home. |
