| Posted: | | | | In the display options there is the possibility to move articles to the end of the movie title in the collection list (e.g. "The Terminator" is listed as "Terminator, The"). Is there any possibility to change this behavior for a single profile? The movie "The Desperate Hours" is called "An einem Tag wie jeder andere" in Germany. "An" is in this case the German word for "on" and no article and therefore it is quite irritating to have the movie listed as "einem Tag wie jeder andere, An" in my database. | | | Recently bought films:

| Posted: | | | | I did this already, the title is at the correct position in the list. I just wanted to know if it is also possible to prevent the program from moving the "An" to the end of the title because it is wrong in this case and also quite irritating. | | | Recently bought films:

| Posted: | | | | I found no way to switch that of for a single profile, but what you can do is to change the space into a non-breaking-space. Edit the profile, delete the space after "An" and hold the Alt-key and type 0160 on the Num-Pad(!).
You should of course be aware that this title shouldn't be contributed, so maybe lock it to remind you of the fact. Make a backup beforehand in case this special-character has some negative side-effects somewhen down the road.

| Posted: | | | | This function is no good for Germans anyway since it won't recognize "Die" as definite article since that's also an English word and no one wants a title to look like this:
Hard, Die

| Posted: | | | | The option you are looking for is (in the German version) menu "Extras -> Optionen -> Darstellung" unflag "Titelartikel anhängen". In the English version it is "Tools -> Options -> Display" and unflag "Append Title Articles". | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I think Discostu only wants this for one title, so the global setting isn't what he is looking for. | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |
